About this work and the accompanying resources
In partnership with the Flotilla Foundation the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) is proud to release eight educational interactives and a digital Antarctic collectors album to mark the accomplishment of ‘a pioneering Antarctica expedition into the depths of the frozen Weddell Sea’. These teaching resources are part of our Education for Antarctic Conservation Project. This work is designed to complement the resources produced during the 2019 Weddell Sea Expedition.
In 2019, an international scientific expedition explored one of the most remote cold and hostile places on Earth, the Antarctic Weddell Sea. This film was created by William Shears.
