Meet the CGeogs
There are more than 1000 approved Chartered Geographers - academics, teachers, GI scientists, conservationists, planners, surveyors, environmental and economic consultants, civil servants, military personnel and many others.
Chartered Geographer is an internationally recognised accreditation, with approximately 10% of current Chartered Geographers residing or working outside the UK.
Career profiles of Chartered Geographers
A number of Chartered Geographers have also provided career profiles for the Society's #ChooseGeography campaign, highlighting the range of careers that studying geography can lead to, and demonstrating the different ways geography skills, knowledge and understanding are used in professional life. The profiles are used by universities, schools, parents, teachers and students. If you'd like to have your career featured, please contact cgeog@rgs.org.
