Jack is completing a Masters in Expedition Medicine. He is a Mountain Leader and holds a Diploma in Mountain Medicine. He has been an expedition doctor through the deserts of Arabia, on ships in the Arctic and Antarctic, altitude trekking in the Andes and Africa and cycling challenges through Europe.
Closer to home he splits his time between General Practice and the Emergency Department with an interest in pre-hospital care. Working as the sole doctor on remote Scottish islands has given Jack invaluable experience in both complex clinical decision making and emergency evacuations.
He is currently keen on expanding his global health interests by setting up a safari skills course in Kenya, combining Wilderness First Responder training with survival and game tracking skills.
