Harriet Fraser is a writer, poet and installation artist whose research and practice focus on people and place, largely in rural and upland settings, to foster conversation, collaboration and change.

After a previous life as a travel writer with Rough Guides, she now works collaboratively with her partner, photographer Rob Fraser through their practice somewhere nowhere. Harriet and Rob also lead the PLACE Collective at the UK's Centre for National Parks and Protected Areas. PLACE is a community of artists whose research and engagement work are centred on issues of environmental change.

Harriet is currently a PhD student at Cumbria University, and is working as part of a transdisciplinary consortium on the UK-wide Land Use for Net Zero, Nature and People Hub.
