Join the South West committee for their annual forum, lecture and dinner.
Please be prompt for a 6.00pm start for the annual forum followed by the lecture.
The lecture, Painting Everest, will be given by artist, and recipient of the Society's Cherry Kearton Medal and Award, Tony Foster. Tony has made three expeditions to Nepal and Tibet to make large scale paintings on site of all three of Mount Everest's formidable faces.
He will describe the development of such an idiosyncratic concept and the practicalities of painting large-scale watercolours in sub-zero conditions at high altitudes.
Dinner will commence at 8.00pm.
