This session aims to support students in making the right choices for them when choosing both a university and a geography course.
Our speakers will take you through a range of things to think about when researching universities and deciding which to apply for, as well as looking in depth about how you can assess whether a geography course will be the right fit for you or not. Making the most of university open days will also be covered.
This event will be aimed at students, however we also encourage teachers to attend the event to collect information they can then pass to their students. Parents are also welcome to attend.
Teachers - if you are booking on behalf of students please make one booking and then you will be able to share the event access link across your students. Students can dial in from school or home.
Booking information
- Advance booking for this event is required. In order to book you will need an account on our website. If you already have an account you will be prompted to log in when you click 'book now'. Please create an account if you do not have one yet (you do not need to be a member of the Society to create an account).
- Delegates will be sent details of how to access the event approximately a week before the event. If this email does not reach you, please contact us before the day of the event.

- Under group booking section:
- Are you personally attending this event? * NO.
- Are you the organiser of the group? * YES.
- Do you know the details of other attendee(s)? * YES.
- Additional attendees – fill in details of the person/people you are booking on behalf of and click ‘Add’.
- Click ‘Next’ once all additional attendee details have been added.
- In your basket will be the tickets for the event. Proceed to checkout once you have added all the events you would like to book for.
