This afternoon course provides a short introduction to different ways of using ArcGIS in the classroom. The course is designed for teachers who are looking for ideas, but don’t need the full ‘hands-on’ experience offered during the full-day ‘Getting started with ArcGIS’ course.
The presentation style will be instructional rather than practical, with limited opportunities to use the application on the day.
This short session may suit you if you already feel confident about using geospatial tools, for example, and offer you a quick pathway to being ready, after some use in the classroom, to join a full-day ‘Going further with ArcGIS’ course.
