Canadian Arctic tourism has developed exponentially over the last decade. Much tourism focuses on its pristine wilderness - a vast, empty landscape of ice and snow containing charismatic wildlife such as the majestic polar bear. Inuit communities live throughout the North.
This lecture gives an overview on Arctic tourism, past, present, and future, and a look on its impact.

Will Hotopf runs guide training projects in Canadian Arctic in Kangiqsujuaq. He has guiding projects in over 50 countries. His skillset is to assess feasibility of sustainable tourism projects.
