Geographical journeys: microlectures
The London Regional Committee hosts an inspiring series of short talks known as the microlectures. If you're interested in learning more or applying to be a speaker at our next event, please visit our applications page.
Proposing to speak at the Society
If you are interested in sharing your expertise and passion for geography, we encourage you to propose a lecture for an upcoming event at the Royal Geographical Society. To submit your proposal, please email the Lectures Team at lectures@rgs.org.
Include the following details in your email:
- Lecture title: a concise and descriptive title for your lecture.
- Overview: a brief summary of the lecture content, highlighting key themes and topics.
- Location: let us know if you are looking to speak at the Society in London, as part of our regional programme, or online, or both.
- Example: a couple of links to previous talks for us to view.
- Biography: A short biography outlining your background, expertise, and relevant experience.
