I am an experienced change management professional with a passion for geography. I promote awareness of geography’s role in shaping organisations and decision-making. Committed to outreach and mentorship, I inspire the next generation to explore how geography influences change, resilience, and adaptation in a rapidly evolving world.

Current or most recent role
I work in the Change Practice at Victoria University of Wellington, building organisational change capability and supporting strategic projects involving significant people change. With a background in geography, I apply spatial awareness and environmental context to help organisations navigate transformation, ensuring adaptability, resilience, and effective decision-making in complex environments.
Previous experience
I have extensive experience in professional outreach, including mentoring, guest lecturing, and industry engagement. At Victoria University of Wellington, I build organisational change capability, and I have contributed to education through subject matter expertise and lecturing at Eastern Institute of Technology and Open Polytechnic. I am also actively involved in conservation initiatives, volunteering with Zealandia and Forest & Bird, supporting environmental and geographical education. I am a Justice of the Peace for New Zealand.
Why I want to become a professional ambassador
I am eager to become a Professional Geography Ambassador to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with students, inspiring them to explore geography's diverse career paths. Engaging in professional outreach is fulfilling and supports the next generation of geographers.
