About

I currently work at CDP within the water security programme. I previously graduated with a BSc in Geography and MPhil in Polar Science where I specialised in Antarctic oceanography and atmospheric science. I have also freelanced as a climate and environment journalist and conducted fieldwork in remote tropical rainforests.

Current or most recent role

I am a water security technical officer at CDP, where we run the largest environmental disclosure platform for corporations to report on their water-related risks, governance and sustainability. I help to gather data on water use and management, in order to capture companies' environmental performance.

Previous experience

I previously worked as a Widening Participation and Outreach Officer at the University of Cambridge, supervising events for local young people from disadvantaged or underrepresented groups to learn more about Higher Education opportunities. I have also curated extra-curricular learning material on geographical topics for A-Level students to help them transition to university study.

Why I want to become a professional ambassador

I have always been passionate about geography and environmental study, and I would love to share my professional experiences as a way to inspire young people to follow similar paths into the field. I enjoy working with young people and would love to act as a positive role-model and mentor.
