About
I’ve used geography in lots of operational and strategic planning and consultancy, all around the world, and in multiple roles. I have extensive experience in the application of several forms of geography to understand, shape and portray the physical environment.

Current or most recent role
I command an engineer regiment that helps the British Army to live, move and fight wars on land overseas. I also support my higher formation with planning relating to the physical environment.
Previous experience
I also command the Cheshire military community engagement task force, liaising with communities and business on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant. I have two years’ prior experience recruiting young people.
Why I want to become a Professional Ambassador
I need to give back to the community and highlight the multiple pathways in which geography can lead to a fulfilling profession. My experiences have application in many disciplines and not just the military.
