Society launches the Navigating geography survey
The mission at the heart of the Society is to empower geography teachers, learners, professionals, expeditioners, and researchers. We support and promote the enjoyment of the world’s people, places and environments for all.
In these changing times, it is more crucial than ever for the Society to have a significant impact in supporting all those interested in geography. That's why we have designed to discover what is important to you.
We want to hear your views. Whatever your role in the geographical community, whether you use geography in your work or are simply someone passionate about our world, and whether you're a member or not, we want to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges you face and the changes you would like to see.
Your insights will be instrumental in shaping the future of geography. They will ensure you have access to the best possible resources, tools, development, and representation to support your professional and personal growth, and foster a geographically confident and engaged population.
The survey is brief and, by participating, you’ll have a chance to enter a prize draw for a £100 Cotswold Outdoor voucher (includes Cotswold Outdoor, Runners Need, Snow+Rock).
The Society has chosen Membership Matters, an independent agency, to conduct research across the geographical community. Membership Matters is hosting the survey and will share the results with the Society, but all individual responses will remain confidential.
