Collections Image Use Policy

How to credit the Society’s Collections, including material used from Wiley Digital Archives

Please credit in the following format:

Photographer name © [where applicable]/RGS-IBG

 

Reproduction

No licensing agreement required, provided Society is credited as above:

  • Social media (including Twitter, Instagram, blog posts, etc) (low resolution – 72dpi) 
  • Academic/non-commercial conference and workshop presentations (low resolution – 72dpi)
  • Theses and dissertations (print resolution – 300dpi)

Licensing agreement required:

  • Publications (high resolution) – non-commercial. Please contact us with the specific request (images@rgs.org). We will assess the request, and if required draw up a licensing agreement and provide information about non-commercial rates.
